1. Role Purpose
My client is seeking a skilled Project Manager to support the successful delivery of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, product improvement initiatives, and bespoke customer solutions. This role is embedded within the engineering team and plays a critical part in ensuring that all projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with customer expectations and internal quality standards.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project delivery in collaboration with the Engineering team—from concept through to completion.
• Partner with the Operations team to ensure NPI projects yield reliable, scalable, and high-quality products.
• Align engineering and operations efforts to meet customer-specific requirements on bespoke solutions, ensuring all deliverables are fit for purpose.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, while coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Proactively track progress, manage dependencies, and escalate issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures and customer quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation tailored to specific project requirements.
• Provide regular updates to management, including reporting on progress, cost implications, time constraints, and resourcing needs.

3. Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and adaptable professional with a strong foundation in engineering and proven experience in project management. They will demonstrate a proactive approach to improving project processes and driving project success across varied initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Engineering Background: A degree in engineering and practical experience in complex engineering environments.
• Project Management Certification: Professional qualification in project management (APM preferred, PRINCE2 acceptable).
• Technical Tools: Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office suite.
• Planning & Execution: Competency in developing Gantt charts, network diagrams, and work breakdown structures.
• Costing & Estimation: Experience building and managing project budgets and cost estimates.
• Risk Management: Ability to assess risks effectively and implement mitigation strategies.
• Communication: Strong skills in presenting updates and simplifying complex topics for varied audiences.
• Flexibility: Capable of understanding strategic goals while adapting to the demands of dynamic project environments.

4. Organisational Responsibilities
