Meet Jackie MacGregor, Senior Divisional Manager, who joined the Certain Advantage team in May 2024 to spearhead our Glasgow office. With a robust background in HR and legal recruitment across the central belt of Scotland, Jackie brings over two decades of experience to the table.
Jackie’s journey in recruitment began with a temping stint at a building society, where the aptitude and attitude of the recruitment team captured her imagination. Since then, Jackie has been a stalwart in recruitment, starting in business support services before specialising in HR and legal roles.
As a leader in the Professional Services recruitment space for the past decade, Jackie has demonstrated her ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on recruitment for her own desk. She excels at creating commercial solutions in a people-driven industry, and her focus on delivering value has often earned her repeat business from clients and candidates.
Jackie’s unique approach to recruitment is rooted in the power of face-to-face interactions. She prefers a casual coffee meeting over a formal sales pitch, which allows her to better understand the market and identify areas where she can provide practical advice or address specific recruitment challenges.
Outside of work, Jackie’s passions include dance (she’s a qualified tap dancing teacher) and music. She loves live performances and musical theatre. Travel is high on her priorities, with New York and Budapest holding special places in her heart as favourite destinations.
