Certain Advantage is collaborating with a prominent aerospace company in search of an experienced Stress Engineer. In this role, you will serve as a Concessions Approval Stress Engineer, working in conjunction with the existing stress analysis team.
What you will be doing:
* Conducting static structural analyses for both composite and metallic materials.
* Analysing and validating metallic and composite/hybrid structures at the component level for static strength, fatigue and durability, and generating appropriate strength margins or reserve factors in accordance with validated methods and sizing processes.
* Providing stress analyses for the repair and acceptance of metallic and composite/hybrid structures.
* Ensuring compliance with airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures.
During an interview, we may ask you about:
* Your design authority experience.
* Your knowledge of aircraft, military aircraft, and other relevant products.
