Certain Advantage is hiring for a People Advisor (Employee Relations) Contract role.

This role is a contract role with hybrid/ remote based.

With plans for growth, they aim to expand their housing stock through strategic development projects and partnerships while focusing on sustainability and enhancing tenant services to create thriving communities.

The Role:

The HR Generalist Advisor will deliver a proactive and credible People function, ensuring colleagues and leaders receive effective HR support. This includes providing advice on policies and processes, building strong relationships, and managing employee queries efficiently. The role involves coaching leaders on employee relations issues, attending meetings, and preparing relevant documentation.

  • Collaborate with the People Team and Payroll for a seamless experience for all staff.
  • Support the wider People team with administrative tasks and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate electronic personal files in compliance with GDPR.
  • Administer HRIS and case management systems, ensuring legislative compliance.
  • Facilitate flexible working requests and changes to employment terms.

The Individual

We’re looking for people who can show:

  • Working towards or holding a recognised HR or CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • Basic understanding of the Housing/Maintenance and/or Care Sector.
  • Experience in HR roles with knowledge of HR technology and administration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments preferred.
  • Provide clear guidance to leaders and colleagues on HR resources.
  • Maintain visibility within the business, managing HR inquiries proactively.
  • Ensure sensitivity and confidentiality in all HR-related tasks and documentation.
